William Rodriguez

William Rodriguez Rivera, 78, of Millcreek, passed away March 6, 2022, at his residence, after fighting a battle with cancer.  Born October 14, 1943, in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Ramon and Inocencia (Rivera) Rodriguez and the husband of Patricia Ann Rodrigues.
William grew up in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico and came to Erie over 50 years ago.  He retired from CSX Railroad.  William became an evangelist in his later years and loved speaking to people about the Bible.  It was his passion.  William had a strong love for family, friends and his Lord.  To know him was to love him.  He is no longer in pain and is standing at the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  
In addition to his beloved wife, Patricia, he is survived by sons, Robert Noel, William Rodriguez, Jr., Michael Finchio; a daughter, Rose Marie; grandchildren, Alyssa, Alexis, Chuckie, Stephanie, Eric, Rachel, Wesley, Joey, Christopher, and Mikey, Jr.; brothers, Enrique and Manuel Rodriguez; sisters Maria D, Raquel, and Victoria Pitts;  numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A private ceremony will be held for close family and friends.
