William M. Kaschak

William M. “Chilly Willie” Kaschak, 84, of Waterford, passed away April 3, 2022, at his residence. Born October 10, 1937, in Erie, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary (Planey) Kaschak, Jr., and the husband of Rose Mary (Gaerttner) Kaschak.

William was a diary farmer who loved racing at Eriez Speedway and Busti, NY, enjoyed tractor pulling and racing snowmobiles.

In addition to his wife of 55 years, Rose Mary, survivors include children, Timothy Black, Sr. and Tiffany Byerly (James) and foster children, Kristina Ecker and Dominic Ecker all of Erie; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and foster children, Kristina Ecker and Dominic Ecker.

A special thanks to the good friends who helped him during his illness and also to the Hospice of Metropolitan of Erie who took such good care of William.

Funeral services are being handled by Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., 459 E. 12th Street, Erie, PA 16503.
