William Beard

William “Bill’ Beard, 82, of Erie, passed away peacefully at home on September 27, 2022. Bill was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Alonzo and Ann (Ladig) Beard on July 2, 1940. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his three brothers, Vernon Beard, Jimmie Beard and Ernie Burns. He worked as a Police Officer in the city of Erie, American General Insurance and Walmart. He had a wonderful voice and enjoyed Singing Karaoke. Bill is survived by his wife of 61 years Mary (Poraczky) Beard, one daughter, Rose (Clinton) Butler of Springfield, Mo, one son, Joe (Rosalie) Beard, of Fullerton, Ca., three grandchildren, Breanna (Thomas) Whitehead and Austin Sundet, both of Springfield, MO and William Beard of Fullerton, Ca.
