Tremaine “Tre Pacino” Johnson transitioned Thursday, June 29, 2023, after a lengthy illness in Baltimore, MD with his mother at his side. He was born to Lawrence Vincent and Pamela “Niecy” Toney on November 25, 1984, in Erie, PA.
Tremaine moved to Baltimore, MD at the age of 4 where he attended Baltimore County Public Schools, Deep Creek Elementary and Baltimore City’s Hampstead Hill Academy. One of his favorite pastimes was spending time with family, especially his nephews whom he had a developed a special bond with. Another hobby was boxing. He shared his love of the sport with one of his nephews by training him in the art of boxing. He loved listening to his favorite genre of music – rap and he enjoyed rapping, His love of and his performance of rap music took him on a journey to pursue a rap career. His favorite rap artist was Tupac Shakur. Tremaine was also a talented cook and he found joy in sharing his culinary expertise.
He was an avid fan of the Baltimore Ravens and LA Lakers, and his favorite movie was “Scarface.” Before his health failed, Tremaine worked as a truck driver for Purple Heart Donation Center.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Henry “Jim” and Bettie Vincent, who cared for him for many years, and maternal grandparents Thomas “Tommy” Dorsey and Helen Wright and infant brother Everett Lawrence Vincent.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Pamela Toney and Lawrence (Tammie White) Vincent; his maternal grandmother Dorothy “Mama Dorothy” Johnson; siblings Latrice Farmer (Buford, GA); Kevin Joyce (Baltimore, MD); Dywann Tate, Lawrence Vincent, Sr., and Lakesha Vincent all of Erie, PA; five nephews – Rodney, Kevin Jr., Keith, Lawrence Jr., and Demarsje Jr; god-mother Cathy Hamel (Manvel, TX) and god-father Rev. Duane Hunter (Erie, PA). Tremaine has many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who also will cherish the memories of his life with us.
Friends and family are invited to Victory Christian Center Cathedral at 1129 Pennsylvania Ave, Erie, PA 16503 on Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 10:00 am until the time of Tremaine’s celebration of life at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Erie Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services.
