Thomas Joseph Ruffley Sr.

Thomas Joseph Ruffley, Sr., 68, of Erie, passed away on February 14, 2023, at his residence, following an extended illness. He was born in Erie, Pa on January 21, 1955, son of the late Raymond and Rose (Bradley) Ruffley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susan (Groom) Ruffley in 2021, a son, Christopher Sanford, his brother, Ray Ruffley and one great grandchild.
Thomas was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his wife Susan, camping and playing bingo.
He left to cherish his memory, four children, Thomas Ruffley, Jr. and wife Melanie, Vicki Miller and husband Willie, Jason Ruffley and wife Jen, David Ruffley and wife Amber, his siter, Sharon Zielinski and husband Tom, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Monday, February 20, 2023, at Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., 459 East 12th Street, Erie, Pa 16503 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The service will start at 6:00 pm with the Rev. Father Jason Glover officiating. Burial will be private. Condolences may be sent to davisgarrfuneralhome.com.
