Thomas Eugene Moles

Thomas Eugene Moles, 74, of Erie, passed peacefully at his home January 13, 2022.  Born, February 15, 1947, Tom was the son of the late George and Norma (Turnwall) Moles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Christine (Kempisty), sister Georgiann (Tressler), and three brothers; Bruce, George, and Gary. 

A graduate of McDowell High School and Erie Business Center, Tom was an accountant for C&J Industries of Meadville, Pa.  He was proud of his service in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of American Legion Post #773.  He was a devoted father and a great cook who could be counted on to deliver a big batch of chili or stew to the local fire department when it got cold out.  He enjoyed fishing, the beach, and his children’s dogs.

Tom is survived by his brother John, three children; Kristen (Mark) Scafaria, Jeffrey, and Marc (Adrian), three grandchildren; Hanalisa, Nicholas, and Nathan Scafaria, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

No calling hours will be observed.  Interment will be private and held at Mary Queen of Peace Cemetery. Arrangements are under care of Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services Inc., 459 E. 12th St.  Erie, Pa  16503.
