Theresa V. (Bryce) Millard, 90, of Harborcreek, passed away peacefully September 24, 2023, at Forestview Skilled Nursing. Born January 22, 1933, in Erie, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Maciulewicz) Bryce and the wife of Lucian H. Millard for 54 years.
She graduated from St. Benedict Academy and worked at Bliley Electric Company. Theresa was a giver and her focus was always tending to her husband and daughter. Planning luncheons with friends or hosting holiday family meals, cracking a joke with her favorite son-in law and cherishing time with her granddaughter. Theresa was a very involved member of St. Stanislaus Church where she helped in the kitchen making fish & pierogi dinners and cleaned on Saturdays before mass. Shopping was one of her favorite pastimes, particularly household sales where she loved to hunt for treasures. Being a wonderful hostess was another job she took seriously. Making sure unique cocktails and snacks were served for all her guests. She was self-less and volunteered many hours for Meals on Wheels and the Second Harvest Food Bank. Theresa never met a stranger and she was loved by all her knew her.
In addition to her beloved husband, survivors include a daughter, Sheryl Brown and husband, Brian, of North East; a granddaughter, Lauren; sisters, Sophia Watral and Helen Piotrowicz both of Erie; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Hedy Stefanowicz.
Family and friends will be received Tuesday, October 3, 2023, from 3 pm until 7 pm at the Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., 459 E. 12th Street, Erie, PA 16403 and Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at St. Stanislaus Church, 516 E. 13th Street, Erie PA 16503, for another brief showing from 9 am until 10 am, concluding with a 10 am Funeral Mass.
