Tanya Beason

Tanya Denise Beason, 61 of Erie, passed away unexpectedly on May 15th, 2023. She was born in Erie, Pa on December 28th, 1961. Daughter of Queen Ester Morrow. She went to Tech High School. She was employed at Walmart for many years. Tanya enjoyed playing bingo, spending time with family and cooking. Tanya was a mother of the House Of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church. If you knew Tanya, you knew she had a heart full of gold. 

She is preceeded in death by her grandparents, Sudie May Beason & Manson Beason, her mother Queen Ester Morrow, her brother Edward Charles Morrow, her sister Lisa Renee Johnson & her son Deltawn Keyes and her grandson Aajohn Williams.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sisters, Celestine Wilcott(Earl Wilcott), Veronica Morrow, Chanel Morrow and her brothers, Curtis Morrow, Anthony Morrow, Rovairr Morrow(Benita Morrow), Tyrone Morrow, Lloyd Curry, and her brother in law Steve Johnson. Three daughters; Tisha Beason, Gloreicia Keyes, Shantaa Keyes. Nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and two dearest friends Kathy Troop and Benita Brown "to the love of my village". She also leaves loving memories to Terrill Simmons and Brittney Jordan, that she loved just as much as her own children.

Relatives and friends are invited to Davis - Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc. 459 East 12th Street, Erie, Pennsylvania 16503 on Sunday, May 21, 2023, from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM and Monday, May 22, 2023, at the House of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church, 155 East 21st Street, Erie, Pennsylvania 16503 from 11:00 AM until the time of her Homegoing Celebration beginning at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Erie Cemetery.
