Tahj Naki Horton Allen “Lord T” Son of Renee Gambill (Paul) and the late Howard W. Horton (Raheem). Tahj was born on August 27th, 1971 and left his earthly body to continue his journey with God on May 26th, 2024.
Tahj graduated from Tech Memorial High school in 1990, he worked for local union 603 as a laborer until his disability. He also attended Montgomery College and studied history. Tahj's interests were music; he enjoyed writing his own lyrics, recording and performing, he also enjoyed history, especially black history. Tahj’s music was his way of writing poetry and telling stories of his life. Tahj wrote and published his own book titled Ring of Deceit. He was an avid fan of the Detroit Lions and the Los Angeles Lakers. His hugs were the best, better than the stories he loved to tell, he remembered everything and everyone. Tahjs smile could light a thousand rooms.
He is preceded in death by his father Howard W. Horton (Raheem), grandparents Howard and Mildred Horton, and John and Geraldine Allen. Aunts Janet Sims and Phyllis Horton, Uncle John Allen and cousin Brandon Allen.
He leaves to cherish his memory his brothers in life and love, Mauryon (Carla), Jameel, Antonio, Khyl, Jacario (Amanda), and Kalen, his sisters Khadija, Nadirah and Niya affectionately known by him as #3. He also leaves behind his beautiful children, Tyrell Naki, Jazmyn LaShae, Aria Jakaya, and Skye Renee, along with their mothers Daisy Concepcion and LaToya Thomas. In addition his 4 beautiful grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, nieces, nephews and his godfather Robert Crosby.
