Stephen Janiuk

Stephen "Stevo" M. Janiuk, 64, of Erie, Pa passed away on June 28, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born in Erie, Pa on February 12, 1960, son of the late Chester and Cecelia (Sarnowski) Janiuk.

Stevo was passionate about fishing, camping and hunting. He travelled to Alaska several times to fish and camp. He enjoyed spending time with others, sharing stories and reminiscing about the past with everyone, having fun and enjoying life to its fullest. He was a highly independent individual and cooking on the grill was his specialty. He was a true outdoorsman and a loyal friend to others. He also loved watching football, his favorite team was the Miami Dolphins.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sister Kathleen Blose and her husband Charles (Charlie) of Erie, Pa and his brother Joseph Janiuk and his wife Bonnie of Beaufort, South Carolina.

He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Adrienne, Amber, Amanda, Mark and Taylor.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister Carol Barrett.
