Shirley Jackman

Shirley (Henry) Jackman, 82, of Erie, passed away on November 21, 2023, at UPMC-Hamot. She was born in Meadville, Pa on February 20, 1941, daughter of the late Carl and Mildred Henry.

Shirley was an LPN, she worked at Metro Hospital for many years and also did Home Healthcare.  She loved crossword puzzles and playing the lottery.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, William Schelinski, Jr., Micheal Schelinski, Susan Atchley and her husband Matt, a stepson Frank Jackman and his wife Corissa, her grandchildren, Skylar, Maddux, Layla, Tyler, Alana and Ava. She is also survived by a dear friend, Matthew Reed-Szarowicz and her best friend, Debbie.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, William Schelinski, Sr., her second husband, Edward Jackman, her siblings, Myrth King, Charley Henry, Edna Dengler and Elva Steadman.

Relatives and friends may call at Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., 459 East 12th Street, Erie, Pa 16503 on Friday, November 24, 2023, from 4:00 pm until the time of her funeral service at 6:00 pm with Pastor Matt Judd officiating.
