Sandra K. Fielding, 72 of Erie, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at St. Vincent's Hospital after a brief but progressive illness.
Sandy was born July 15, 1953, in Titusville, PA and raised in Spartansburg to the late Edward and Mary Stone. She married William Richard "Dick" Fielding who preceded her in death on April 5, 2021. She attended Spartansburg school.
Sandy worked for many years at Ongley Hardwoods and then the Rouse Home. Her and her husband were prominent members of the Masonic Temple and Shriner's where her husband was Worshipful Master in Titusville, PA for several years.
Sandy enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and spoiling her family. She organized family Christmas parties at the Moose Club in Union City and reunions at Burgess Park in Titusville yearly. She loved her family very much.
She is survived by one son, Charles Weaver and wife Theresa of Erie, stepchildren; Toby Fielding and wife Holly of Virginia, Tina Fryling and husband Michael of Erie, and Robin Wheatley and husband Michael of New York; three sisters; Karen Blakeslee of Union City, Betty Cross and husband Walter of Spartansburg, PA, Patty MacBlain of Meadville, PA and one brother, Denny Stone and wife Ginger of Florida; eight grandchildren; Camron, Matthew, Nicholas, Grace, Madison, Mason, Rory and Lily; 8 great grandchildren; Gabe, Kayden, Ariana, Kamryn, Adalynn, Isabella, Devyn and Logan; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandson Tyler Weaver; three sisters; Donna Ongley, Bonnie Krizo and Jeannie VanWinkle; three brothers; Ronnie Stone, Gary Stone and infant brother Dickey Stone.
A celebration of her life will be held at her old homestead to be announced at a later date this summer. She will be sadly missed.
