Rose Mary Nyberg

Rose Mary (Mongiello) Nyberg, 78 of Erie, passed away on July 22, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital, following an extended illness.
Rose was born in Erie on September 19, 1943, daughter of the late William and Mary (Durovic) Mongiello. Rose was the beloved wife of 59 years to her husband and best friend Gary Nyberg. Rose was the beloved mother and best friend to Robin Nyberg and Shannon Wright, both of Erie. Rose was the beloved grandmother and best friend to her adopted granddaughter Tiffany Barker also of Erie.
In addition, Rose is also survived by her two brothers, Billy and Bobby Mongiello, her sister, Sue Held and several nieces and nephews.
Rose loved to garden, cook, feed the birds, play bingo and go to the Casino. She also enjoyed doing things for others, especially her family. Rose will be greatly missed. 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the A.N.N.A. Shelter, 1555 East 10th Street, Erie, Pa 16511.
In honoring   Rose's wishes, her services were private.
