Ronnie L. McCallum

Ronnie Lee "Trank" McCallum, 84, of Erie, Pa, transitioned on July 10, 2024. She was born on July 16,1939 in Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of the late Helen Patterson and Thea White, Sr. 

Ronnie enjoyed shopping, traveling and playing cards. She graduated from Strong Vincent High School and attended Edinboro University. She was a former head start teacher at GECAC, and worked as a Nurse's Aide at Hamot Hospital, Fairview Manor and Battersbee.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, William A. McCallum of Erie, Pa, Helen K. Harrison of Erie, Pa, Kimberly A. Coley (Kelly) of Columbus, Oh, Caroline E. Green (Sean) of Erie, Pa, Annette Pringle of New Jersey, Tina Harris (Tevis) of Jacksonville, Fl, grandson Michael L. McCallum (Tori), whom she raised of Columbus, Oh, her siblings, Reaver L. Gibbs of Detroit, MI, Rebecca L. White of Erie, Pa, Robert L. White of Mass, Roger L. White (Anna) of Scranton, Pa, Raymond L. White of California and Thea A. White of Erie, Pa. In addition, she is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her lifelong partner and common law husband, Billie Cook, a daughter, Cynthia McCallum, a son, Christopher McCallum, two step sons, Anthony and Bruce Cook, two brothers, Richard L. White and Russell L. White, a granddaughter, Shaunya Y. Green and a grandson, Travon D. Green.

Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., 459 East 12th Street, Erie, Pa 16503 from 12:00 noon until the time of her service at 2:00 pm with the Pastor Daryl Craig officiating.
