Ronald J. Baginski

Ronald J. “Bugsy” Baginski, 67, of Erie, passed away November 30, 2021, at UPMC Hamot.  Born May 21, 1954, in Erie, he was the son of the late Joseph and Jean (Borowy) Baginski and the husband of Anna (Szwec) Baginski.

He was a member of St. Hedwig Church where he served as an alter server.  Ronald retired from GE Transportation and was an avid hunter and fisherman and especially loved his dog, Rudy.

In addition to his beloved wife, Anna, he is survived by step children, Ashley Borgia, Hayley Borgia and Christopher Szwec; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Colin and Ashtin; a sister, Gloria Sullivan (Tom) of Erie; nieces and nephews, Pam and Brad Fish and Kim and Tom Toy; great nieces and nephews, Erika and Matthew Fish and Madison and Joshua Toy; childhood friend, Tom and Nancy Sonny and God Children.

Family and friends will be received Monday, December 6, 2021 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., 459 E. 12th Street, Erie PA 16503.  A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 10 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church.
