Robert Gore

Robert Dwyane Gore, Sr. (Dgo), 64, of Erie, Pa transitioned unexpectedly on April 20, 2024.

He was born in Erie, Pa on April 11, 1960, son of the late Nathaniel "Pooky" B. Wilcox and Willie Mae Gore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Katreese Lanae (George) Gore, his maternal grandparents, Levon and Lillie Hinton, his siblings, Starlet Beard and Donna Beard, uncles, Roy Hinton, Sr., and Levon Hinton, Jr.  and his brother-in-law, Timothy Plott.

Robert was a former member of Greater Bethlehem Temple under Bishop T.R. Ratcliff and a current member of Greater Calvary Full Gospel Baptist Church under the Honored Bishop Gavin. He worked many jobs, Welch's was his favorite and he enjoyed working with people. He did different jobs at the City Mission, shelters and rehabs. He enjoyed helping and giving to people. He also loved watching Western Movies. 

He leaves to cherish his memories his son, Robert Dwyane Gore, Jr. (Deliriana), his siblings, Douglas Beard "Petergun", Cheryl "Nan" Beard, Dessy Bean (Mac), Debra Hinton and Angela Plott. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to Greater Calvary Full Gospel Baptist Church 2624 German Street, Erie, Pa 16514 on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am with Pastor Colin G. Gavin officiating. Burial will be private.
