Richard N. Pesch

Richard N. Pesch, aged 73, passed away on May 12, 2026, succumbing to his battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Born on August 28, 1952, the youngest of three boys, born to Hubert Pesch and Irene Pesch (Millard).  He grew up and lived the majority of his life in Erie, Pennsylvania, before a brief move to Phoenix, Arizona.  Due to his declining health Richard spent the past six years with family in Pennsylvania and at the Sugar Creek Care Center in Franklin, PA.  Richard was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife Nancy Pesch (Zewe) of 32 years.  He is survived by his brothers Thomas Pesch and Donald Pesch, both of Orange County California and his children Stephen Pesch of Pittsburgh, Robert (Bobby) Pesch of Erie, and Jennifer Pesch (Palmer) of Corpus Christi, Texas.  He also enjoyed his four grandchildren Ellen, Katrina (Kate), and Anne Pesch, and Nancy Palmer. Richard was an avid sports fan, rooting for the Cleveland Browns and Indians, and will continue his multi-decade wait for either team to win a championship from a better place.

Friends and Relatives are invited to Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, located at 459 East 12th Street, Erie, PA 16503 this Saturday (May 16, 2026) from 5 to 7 pm to celebrate his life and pay final respects.
