Richard Deniziak

Richard W Deniziak 86, 1029 Polk st passed away peacefully Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the Hope Hospice House in Cape Coral Florida after a brief illness.

He was born in Erie on January 26, 1939, the son of late John and Catherine Kuligowski Deniziak. Mr. Deniziak graduated from Erie Tech and served in the United States Army in Italy. He was a computer analyst with General Electric for 30 before retiring at age 55. He was a lifetime member of the Huzar Club , Slovak Club and various other social clubs. He resided in Erie Pennsylvania and enjoyed the winters as a “snowbird” in North Fort Myers, Florida at Lake Fairways Country Club for over 25 years, where he enjoyed playing golf and attending social events. He spent many hours on the dance floor as he was a very devoted Elvis Presley and Polka music fan. Richard always took care of family. Family came first always willing to help anyone out that was in need. He was everyone’s uncle. Everyplace he walked into everyone called him “UNCLE RICHIE” !!

He was preceded in death by his lady friend Jeannine Poole of Ottowa, Canada , brother John Deniziak, sister Helen Majewski, sister Cecilia Deniziak, sister Dorothy Ropiecki, brother Raymond Deniziak. Survivors include his sister Irene Rosenthal and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Dusckas Funeral Home Services, Inc., 536 West 10th Street, Erie, Pa 16502 from 3:00 pm until 6: 00 pm. and Monday, March 24, 2025, at St. Casimir Church 629 Hess Ave., Erie, Pa 16503 from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral mass at 10:00 am.
