Randell Branch Coleman was born January 17, 1958. The Lord called him home on February 28, 2026.
He is survived by his sister Brenda J Gilmore & her husband Joshua, his brother Willie Lee Coleman Sr, sister-in-law Elizabeth Coleman, his extended daughter Jennifer Jackson, her children James Jackson whom he served as a father figure, Dawnshenaira Jackson, Myzira Jackson. Markey Jackson, Pauline McClaurin whom was always treated as family, Godson ZaMarion Duck, life-long friend David Hammons who was more like a true brother, his significant other Veronica Jones, 4 extended great grandchildren many Nieces , nephews & cousins.
Randell known by “R.C. MACK” by those close to him, was an alumni of Academy High School where he excelled on the football field. He worked as a chief union Stewart at General Electric also working at A.O. Smith meters. But many in the community may remember him most from his time with the EMTA As a bus driver. He was well known for showing up for all the family functions ,riding his scooter all over town greeting those he loved with a beep of his horn.
He was also a proud Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
He was a faithful member of Victory Christian Center, where he served as an Elder of the church & always showed up wearing his Sunday Best. He is preceded in death by his mother Rosea Estella Coleman, his father James Willie Lee, his brother Johnny Lee Coleman, his sister-in-law Joanne Coleman, his extended grandson Melquan Ali Jackson and his favorite Aunt Florence Ridgway.
Services are entrusted to Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc 459 East 12th Street, Erie, Pennsylvania 16503. Randell will be eulogized by Archbishop Dwane Brock at Victory Christian Center Cathedral, 1129 Pennsylvania Avenue, Erie, Pennsylvania 16503 on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 11:00am to 1:00pm and the Homegoing Service will immediately follow.
