Patricia Kroto

Patricia “Patti” Ann Kroto born in Erie, PA December 22, 1935, left this earth on November 25, 2025, at the age of 88.  Predeceased by her parents Josephine (Lagner) and Stephen Krotozynski, brother, Jerry Krotozynski and sister, Margie Kroto of Apopka, FL. 

She is survived by her son Stephen Kroto, sister-in-law, Millie (Tony) Krainski of Kentucky, nieces Julie (Les) Couchenour of Maryland and Stacey (Art) Hutchison of Kentucky, dear friend, Judy DeGolyer of Apopka, FL, one Aunt, Bonnie Lagner of Jacksonville, FL, special cousin/caregiver, Lisa (Kevin) Whaling and many other cousins.

Patti graduated from Villa Maria Academy.  She worked at Sears and retired from Zurn Industries.  She enjoyed going to see the Erie Otters and Erie Seawolves with her son as season ticket holders.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Patti’s caregivers during her illness, Amy, Semone, Tarra, Kitana and Kamya.  Also, to Interim Home healthcare, Interim Hospice and UPMC Hillman Cancer Center.

Relatives and friends are invited to Saint Stanislaus Church 516 East 13th Street, Erie, Pennsylvania 16503 on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 9:00 AM until the time of her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to Erie Humane Society Pet Wellness Clinic, 2433 Zimmerly Road, Erie, PA  16506.
