Michael Lee "Mickey" Wardell, 83, passed away unexpectedly on November 2, 2025. He was born on October 7, 1942, in Erie, Pa to his parents, the late Leon Davis, Sr. and Louise Choice Wardell.
Mickey enjoyed cooking, cleaning, singing and hanging out with friends and family at Perry Square. Playing chess was one of his greatest pleasures, where he gained the title, "The Chess King".
He was preceded in death by his late parents Leon Davis, Sr. and Louise Choice-Wardell
and angel baby Michelle Ranee, a brother, Leon Davis, Jr. and two sisters, Sally Ann Maxwell and Ranee Davis.
He leaves to cherish his memory his only living child Gwendolyn J. Guelledge, his five grandchildren, Kinendra Johnson, Tania Guelledge, Daytwaun McCalebb, Dae'Onna (Mark) Ondreako and Jontionna Guelledge, 10 great grandchildren, Ja'Zhy and Ja'Vari Guelledge, Lavell, Iye'Onna, Kamren and Emari Ondreako, Day'Oujanae, Day'Niya and Day'Jon McMcClebb and TyMeir Guelledge, three brothers, Fredrick Davis, Kevin and
Ronny Foster, a sister, Denise Green and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mickey will be missed by many and loved by all
