Mary Louise (Mizikowski) Maracci

Mary Louise (Mizikowski) Maracci, age 83, of Milcreek, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023. She was born in Erie on July 28, 1939, 
 daughter of the late Edward and Louise (Michalski) Mizikowski. Mary Lou was a graduate of St. Benedict Academy, class of 1957. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Mary Lou had been a bookkeeper for Surre and later worked at St. Mary’s Rectory for over 30 years. Her greatest joys were spending time with her family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Edward Mizikowski, Leonard Mizikowski and Edwin Mizikowski; her sister Bernadine Zdunski; sister-in-laws, Marlene Mizikowski, Olga Pivetta and Norma Maracci; her brother-in-law Victor Pivetta. Mary Lou is survived by her husband of 57 years Robert Maracci, a daughter, Lisa Rawa, husband Randy Rawa, MD, of Valencia PA and son David Maracci, wife Sandy Maracci of Erie, PA. Her two grandsons, who were the greatest joys of her life and called her Memaw, Braeden Rawa and Aaron Maracci; and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call on Tuesday, January 31 at 9am for a gathering at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church 2401 West 38th Street, Erie, Pa 16506 followed by a funeral mass at 10am. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc. 459 East 12th Street, Erie, Pa 16503.
