Mary Ann Golembeski

Mary Ann Golembeski, 93, of Erie, Pa, passed away on March 4, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital. Mary Ann was born in Erie, Pa on September 23, 1931, daughter of the late Frank and Catherine (Zasadzki) Benek, Sr.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Golembeski in 2000, her daughter, Catherine Ann Golembeski and her siblings, Johnny, Frank, Edward, Joseph, Virginia, Dorothy, Gladys, Josephine and Stanley "Whitey". Mary Ann worked at Carlisle's Department Store, she volunteered at the foodbank, she was a generous individual, her belief was it's better to give than receive. She also enjoyed cooking for family and friends. She is survived by two sons, Raymond Dennis Golembeski and Thomas Alan Golembeski (Ann), both of Erie, Pa. Mary Ann cherished her grandchildren, Carrie Ann, Thomas John (Katie) and Derek Alan (Sara) and her great grandchildren, Nico Allan, Charlotte Ann, Derek Alan II, Guiliana, Lena and Adalia. She is also survived by one brother, William Banak (Rosalie) of Erie, Pa. There will be a private entombment at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel.
