Mary Ganzer

Mary Anne (Chrostowski) Ganzer, 89, of Erie, passed away on April 25, 2024 at St. Mary's Home - Asbury Ridge. She was born in Erie, Pa on December 26, 1934, daughter of the late Peter and Josephine (Krupinski) Chrostowski. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Ganzer, one son, Daniel Ganzer, her sister Delphine Ebert and husband Raymond and her  brother-in-law, Alford Krierzek.

She retired after 14 years from the former Loblaws Market, she was a member of St. Stanislaus Church and it's Mom's Club. She enjoyed gardening and reading.

She is survived by her children, Peter Ganzer (Susan) of Leonardtown, MD, Louis Ganzer (Barbara) of Erie, Pa, Richard E. Ganzer, of Erie, Pa, Kimberly Rafferty (William) of Erie, Pa and Helen Ganzer-Miller (Henry) also of Erie, Pa, her siblings, Christine Krierzek, Beth Dalton, and Peter Chrostowski, all of Erie, Pa. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, three great - great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., 459 East 12th Street, Erie, Pa 16503 from 4:00 to 7:00pm. A prayer service will be there on Friday at 9:30 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Stanislaus Church, 516 E. 13th Street at 10:00 am. Burial will be in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
