Mary (DeWolf) Bennett

Mary Grace (DeWolf) Bennett, age 73, of Erie, died peacefully Monday, October 27, 2025, in her home.  She was born September 1, 1952, in Erie, daughter of the late Frank and Mary DeWolf. 

Mary graduated from Strong Vincent High School, worked hard outside the home but her heart always was to take care of family. Mary was a humble caregiver and loving mentor to her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. 

Mary was a devoted mother to Eric, Melissa, Michael and Heather, and grandmother to Aaron, Kyle, Ryan, Tasha, Alex,  Andrew, Juliana, Elizabeth, Maria, Rory, Piper, Austin and Kyler;  great grandchildren, and an aunt to many nieces and nephews. 

Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband Larry in 2009, her mother and father, Mary and Frank DeWolf, and is survived by her siblings Judy Romanski (Ron), Denise Bickerstaff (Jamie),  Frank DeWolf (Ann) and Dave DeWolf (Kristen).   

Relatives and friends are invited to Davis – Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc. 459 East 12th Street, Erie, PA 16503 on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 11:00 AM until the time of her Funeral Service at 1:00 PM.
