Mary L. Bartone

Mary L. Bartone, 86, of Erie passed away October 27, 2023, at AHN-Saint Vincent Medical Center.  She was born May 12, 1937, in Erie. Mary was the daughter of the late Percy and Emma (Delfft) Dolan and the wife of the late Anthony “Mike” Bartone.

Mary was a member of Glenwood Methodist Church where she sang in the choir.  She was the secretary for the family’s locksmith business. Mary also enjoyed listening to music, playing bingo, going on late-night coffee runs, and spending time with her family. 

Survivors include daughters, Rita Triana (Tim) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Jeanette Wiser (Glenn) of Erie; sons, Dale Burlingame (Susan) of Erie, Larry Burlingame (Eunice) of Erie, John Burlingame (Sandi) of Erie and Vince Burlingame (Abi) of Las Vegas, NV; ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great great children.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Carrie Wiser and several brothers and sisters.

Family an friends will be received Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Glenwood Methodist Church, 2931 Myrtle Street, Erie PA 16508, from 10 AM until 12 Noon.  A Funeral Service will follow at Noon with Pastor Matt Judd officiating.

A luncheon will follow the funeral service. 

A private burial will follow for family in Erie Cemetery.
