Marshall Eugene Farris, Jr., 47, of North East, Pa, passed away on November 24, 2025, at home. He was born in Erie, Pa on May 26, 1978, son of Gwendolyn (Fosnaught) Farris and the late Marshall Eugene Farris, Sr.
He graduated from East High School in 1998. He played the trumpet in the marching band and was a member of the ROTC. Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Army. He served tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was also stationed in Fairbanks, AK and Fort Drum, NY. For many years, he was a tattoo artist in his spare time. He was also a die-hard Steelers fan and enjoyed spending time with his family and renovating his house.
He is survived by one son, Jaiden and one daughter Kayla, both of Erie, Pa, three sisters, Michelle (Mark) Kisiel, Lisa (James) Hammerman, both of Erie, Pa and Shannon (Steven) Metheny of Katy, TX, along with his companion, Angie Wagner of North East, Pa and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., 459 East 12th Street, Erie, Pa 16503 on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 1:00 pm until the time of his service at 3:00 pm with Military Honors. Burial will be private.
