Linda M. Mathis

Linda Marie Mathis, 64, of Erie, passed away on October 16, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born in Erie, Pa on April 20, 1960, daughter of the late Leon and Henretta (Allen) Mathis, Sr.

 Linda loved playing Yahtzee and Atari Pac Man. She also loved spending time with her family including her grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. She was one who enjoyed a good steak. She was very funny and was loved by many.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Shuntell Mathis of Erie, Pa, her grandchildren, Jasmine Mathis, Savannah Mathis, Karina Mathis, Shuntell Mathis, Jr., Victoria Mathis, Lyric Mathis, Isiah Mathis, Kal-El Mathis and Adonis Mathis, two sisters, Pearl Mathis of Erie, Pa and Rose Mathis of Erie, Pa and several nieces, nephews and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Elizabeth Neimic, one great granddaughter, Nova Huff and three brothers, Charles Mathis, June Mathis and Michael "Mack" Mathis.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, October 25, 2024, at Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., 459 East 12th Street, Erie, Pa 16503 for a Memorial Service at 12:00 noon. Burial will be private. Please send condolences to: davisgarrfuneralhome.com.
