Linda Vanhooser

Linda J. (Wisniewski) Vanhooser, 73, of Erie, Pa , passed away on June 26, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born in Erie, Pa on September 18, 1952, daughter of the late Bernard and Ann (Izbicki) Wisniewski.

Linda was a member of the on-line chat community BB2. She was a breast cancer survivor. She loved riding her motorcycle with her late husband Ron. She enjoyed crafts, gardening and took great pride in her yard.

She is survived by her two children, Linda Joann Russell (Scott) and Robert James Stablein, III, both of Erie, Pa, her grandchildren, Tori Humphries (Tony) and Cayce McWilliams, both of Erie, Pa, her great grandchildren, Julian, Harmony and Angelo, her siblings, Judith Mcleod of Daytona, Fl, John Wisniewski (Sandi) of Waycross, Ga, Elizabeth 2025, (John) of Erie, Pa, Nancy Ardillo (John) of Erie, Pa, Carol Norris (Herbie) of Erie, Pa, Joseph Wisniewski of Fl, and Frank Wisniewski of Ca. She is also survived by her best friend Patricia Finnegan, many nieces and nephews and her puppy of 13 years, Janie Kay.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Vanhooser, her sister, Patricia Hawley and a life-long friend, Mary Reitz.
