Lee (NAP) Paul Roberts, 80, of Erie passed away on October 9, 2021, at St. Vincent Medical Center. He was born September 4, 1941, Shubuta, Miss., son of the late David and Brunetta (Dixon) Roberts. He was a resident of Erie for 66 years.
He enjoyed watching sports, loved working on cars, and spending time with his grandchildren. His favorite saying was "You Big Dummy." He was employed at The Big Store, Leo Car Wash, Fairview Foundry, Gary Miller, and Bianchi Honda. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Willie Earl Roberts.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife Ernestine Roberts; a son, Dwayne Roberts; daughters, Marchelle Roberts, Brenda Roberts (John), Dorthea (DeeDee) Roberts and Sheri Roberts all of Erie. Brothers, James (Sue) Roberts, Sherman (Barb) Roberts, and Jerry (Lori) Roberts, all of Erie; sisters, Treasie Speed of Erie and Rose Crawford of Memphis, Tenn.; 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; uncle Earnestee Dickerson; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Family and friends will be received Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 4:45 p.m. with Bishop Clint Roberts, officiating.
