Karen Denis (Kay Kay) Lee...of Erie, Pennsylvania departed this life on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at her home.
She was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on January 25, 1956, daughter of: Thomas Grant, Jr. and Lorraine Martin-Lee.
Karen attended Gannon College’s Upward Bound and graduate with honors from Erie East High School, class of 1973. She attended Penn-State Erie Behrend College, and Lane College, Jackson, TN. She professed his belief in Jesus Christ (John 3:16) and joined the Second Baptist Church, Erie, Pennsylvania with water baptism. (Reverend James Ford, Pastor). She was the number one cheerleader for her son (Grant Lee) as they traveled with the National Poker Tournament throughout the United States. She enjoyed cheering her favorite sports teams the, Pittsburgh's Steelers, In which she and Ben Jones became a tag-team attending many games. Karen though wheelchair bound for more than 20+ years maintained here quick wit and was always the life of the party. Her childhood nickname was “HAPPY’ .
Karen is preceded in death her father, Thomas Grant, Son Grant, (Karrie Sadowski), and faithful companion of 25+ years, Benjamin Jones.
She leaves to lovingly cherish her memory, her is Mother, Lorraine Martin-Lee, Brother Thomas Lee, Helen Porter Aunt several , cousins and many God children. “Miss Kay”
Family and friends are invited to Second Baptist Church, 757 East 26th Street, Erie, Pennsylvania 16504 on Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 10:00 AM until the beginning of her Homegoing Celebration at 12 Noon.
