Joseph Brooks

Joseph R. Brooks, 50, of Erie, Pa, passed away on October 23, 2024, at UPMC-Hamot. He was born in Erie, Pa on June 17, 1974, son of Marie D. (Novakowski) McDaniel of Millcreek.

Joseph enjoyed spending time with his children, family and friends.

He is survived by his significant other, Sarah Reynolds, three children, Austin Jacobowski, Joseph Brooks, Jr. and Maryjane Brooks, all of Erie, Pa, one brother, David F. Brooks (Katrina) of South Carolina, two sisters, Lyndi Thomas (Kyle) and Christina Carlin (Jeff) all of Georgia and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Chuck McDaniel.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at the Fulton Athletic Club 1309 East 9th Street, Erie, Pa on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 2:00 pm. Burial will be private.
