Jonathan Arrington

Jonathan Arrington, 61, of Erie, Pa, transitioned on March 4, 2024, at home. He was born on March 14, 1962, in Laurel, MS, son of the late AC and Lillie (Davis) Arrington.

Jonathan retired from St. Mary's Home - Asbury Ridge, where he worked as a dietary cook. He was a proud member of AA since 1985, he enjoyed Archery hunting and fishing, listening to good music, taking drives, watching Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and Nature Documentaries, but mostly spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Dolan) Arrington, his two daughters, Hallie Ann Arrington and Nina J. Arrington all of Erie, Pa, his three grandchildren, Jonathan Arrington, Reese Fisher and Jacob Arrington - Thompson, his siblings, Allen Arrington of Chicago, Scercecelia Star of Erie, Pa, Michael Arrington of MS, Angela Arrington of Erie, Pa and Hubert Arrington of Erie, Pa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by one brother, Ricky Arrington and one sister, Debbie Arrington.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., 459 East 12th Street, Erie, Pa 16503 from 1:30 pm until the time of his service at 2:00 pm. Burial will be private. Please send condolences to: davisgarrfuneralhome.com.
