John Subotnik

John Z. Subotnik, 77, of Erie, Pa passed away September 30, 2025, at his residence. John was born on June 25, 1948, in Altenstadt, Germany son of the late Michael and Anna (Huta) Subotnik.

John was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed taking local drives around the area and being outdoors, he was a true outdoorsman. He was a machinist. John retired from General Electric after several years of service. He was a member of the UE local 506 union.

John leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Corina Southworth of Baldwinsville, NY and Adinna Nelson of Erie, Pa, two sisters, Josephine K. Lubiejewski and her husband Al of Erie, Pa and Jupiter, Fl and Wanda Hasbrouch of Tonawanda, NY. He is also survived by one grandchild. Burial is in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
