James Earl Wilcott Sr. Son of the Lord was called home April 26, 2024. He was born to the late William and Kitty Caldwell. James as known “Earl” worked in his previous days as a supervisor at Urick Foundry. He always quoted “A Real Mans Job.”
Earl had a gift from God, he could start a conversation with anyone, and it was like he knew them for years. He would have you feeling like, “Do I know this man?!” Earl was the Chief of his tribe.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years Celestine Wilcott. Grandfather, Ezel Caldwell, Uncle James Caldwell, Aunt Charlotte Caldwell, Grandson Kareem Lonnie Wilcott Jr., and Granddaughter Shaniya Spearman.
Earl is survived by his four sons: Richard Jones, James Wilcott, Jr. (Patricia), Kareem Wilcott, Sr. (Racheal), William Morrow (Charmone), one daughter, Qwawtiesa Morrow (Shelton), one brother, Willie Wilcott (Eleanor) who he loved dearly. In addition, he has many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and In-laws. Earl was a die-hard Steelers fan and you couldn’t tell him nothing about his Pittsburgh Steelers. He is truly going to be missed here on earth.
