Jalea Turner

Jalea Darea Turner, 20, of Erie, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly on January 1, 2025. She was the daughter of Detrice Turner and Dwight Beason. Jalea graduated from Erie High School. She was a Patient Care Assistant at L’Arche Erie. She was a fashionista, enjoyed sports, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Jalea was preceded in death by her grandfather, Wiley Joe Turner, brother, Joshua Dupree Beason, auntie, Demetrice Boykin, uncles, Dwaine Beason and Demond Beason.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her grandparents, Margarett Barnett (LeeEarl) and Deloris Johnson, Siblings, Kareem Turner (Brittney), Rawjeal Thompson (Dahz), Ouijalwan Thompson (Jenna), Kreousha Thompson, Kemon Turner, and Jade Cooley. God mother, Nicole Pennamon, and special friend, Julius Wayne, along with a host of uncles, aunties, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to Victory Christian Cathedral 1129 Pennsylvania Ave. Erie, Pennsylvania16503 on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 11:00 AM until the time of her Homegoing Celebration at 1:00 PM with Bishop Dwane Brock, officiating.
