Irene (Pietrasiewicz) Krineski, 90, of Erie, passed away on April 10, 2026, at her residence.
Irene was born in Erie, Pa on November 24, 1935, daughter of the late John and Anna (Malinowski) Pietrasiewicz.
She retired as a cook from St. James School Cafeteria. She also had been employed at the Lord Manufacturing Company. She was a 1955 graduate of East High School and was a member of St. James Catholic Church. She enjoyed sitting on her porch, looking at flowers and birdwatching, gardening and going camping. Irene always looked forward to Monday afternoon Bingo with her friends. She was a lifetime member of VFW Ladies Aux Post 470 and a lifetime member of the Fulton Athletic Club. Additionally, she belonged to the Huzars Club, Slovak National Club and Wesleyville American Legion Post 571.
Irene is survived by her children, John J. Krineski and his fiance Denine Zill of Harborcreek, PA, Christopher T. Krineski and his wife Caroline of Macon, Georgia and Anne Joyce and her husband James of Morristown, NJ and four grandchildren, Lara Joyce, James Joyce, Justin Joyce and Ashley Krineski.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. "Tim" Krineski and her brother, John Pietrsasiewicz.
Relatives and friends are invited to Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., 459 East 12th Street, Erie, Pa 16503 on Monday, April 20, 2026, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. A service will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 9:45 am followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, 2635 Buffalo Road, Erie, Pa 16510 at 10:30 am.
