Harriet Elizabeth Miaczynski (Czarnecki)(Schuler), 90, of Poinciana, Florida and formerly of Harborcreek, PA, passed peacefully at home Monday, June 26, 2023.
She is survived by 4 children and 4 step children; Daron(Sue)Czarnecki, Shari(Carl)Krumpe, Brian(Tabitha)Czarnecki, Karen(Peter)Alex, Laurie(Todd)Oleski, William(Carol)Schuler, Diane(John)Forish, Tim(Nancy)Schuler and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald R. Czarnecki, her second husband, William T. Schuler, her beloved grandsons Joel Czarnecki and Neil Czarnecki, both of her parents, Stefania(Mszanowski) and Stanislaus Miaczynski, and her siblings, Alice, Frederick, Henry, Theodore, Joseph, Theresa, Stephen, Helen and Stanley.
Harriet was a life long learner who continued post education in early computer skills, bookkeeping, notary and business. Her career outside of the home included office work at General Electric and many years as office manager and bookkeeper at Spaeder Plumbing. Her skills with people and accuracy with numbers and details translated well to co-ownership of Seaway Auto Sales with her first husband, Ron Czarnecki in Harbor Creek, where she also ran for many years an active Pennsylvania Notary Public service.
In addition, Harriet was a member of the Presque Isle Yacht Club,
St. Stanislaus church and Our Lady of Mercy church. A special part of her life was her Girl’s Card Club, which gathered monthly for over 50 years. Later in life, Harriet wed Bill Schuler and they were blessed to share their golden years together in Solivita, Florida where she was a member of the Subject of the Month Club, the Widow’s Club, enjoyed Tai-Chi and pursued her favorite activity of playing, and usually winning! cards and games with friends and family. And while she never in her entire 70 plus year career of driving had an accident or a speeding ticket, she earned her nickname “Hot Rod Harriet” for a reason.
Her professional success aside, Harriet will forever be remembered for a spirit of kindness, generosity, felicity, wit and grace both by her family and in every community in which she participated. Her warmth and integrity built life long friendships from Canada to Florida. In faith she looked forward to Jesus meeting her in Heaven, and knew she would be reunited with her beloved mother and many family and friends.
