Harold H. Pawlik, 78 of Erie, Pa, passed away on March 10, 2026, at Edinboro Manor. He was born in Greensboro, NC on September 25, 1947, son of the late Joseph T. and Emma Isabelle (Wright) Pawlik, Sr.
Harold was born in Greensboro, NC but grew up in Erie, Pa. He graduated from East High School and served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War then with the military police, retiring after 20 years of service. He was an avid golfer, Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Guardians fan, he loved cars, animals and going to the casino.
Harold is survived by one son, Harold Edward Pawlik, Jr., one brother, Joseph Pawlik, Jr., his former wife, Carol Daub, two grandchildren, Christian Pawlik and Samantha Kepner (Jeff) and three great grandchildren, Khaleesi, Miles and Arthur Jeffery, all of Erie, Pa., one niece, Amber (Pawlik) Domorodzki (Matthew) of Huntsville, Al, three nephews, Tyson Pawlik and Matthew Pawlik of Erie, Pa and Chris Lewis of Tn. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Harold is preceded in death by his brother, Carl Franklin Pawlik and nephew, Carl Lewis.
Relatives and friends may call at Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., 459 East 12th Street, Erie, Pa 16503 on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 4:00 pm until the time of his service at 7:00 pm. Private burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Edinboro Manor and Gentiva Hospice for the care they provided to Harold. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tunnel to Towers or the ANNA Shelter.
