Harley Swagerty

Harley Raymond Swagerty Jr. of Erie, Pa passed away unexpectedly on Saturday May 21st, 2022. Born in Lawton Oklahoma at Fort Sill Army base on November 30th, 1973 to Harley "Ray" Swagerty Sr. and Marsha (Atkin) Swagerty. Raised in Erie, PA. Harley will be remembered for his kindness and generosity; he was always willing to lend a hand and was able to fix anything. Harley had the kindest heart and cherished his "kids" which included his nieces and nephews (he was EVERYONE'S Uncle Harley), Uncle Harley made sure to be an active part in all of his "kids" lives. Survived by his loving family which includes his wife Stacey Swagerty; son Nathan VanTassel; siblings: Tom Swagerty, Gerri (Willie) Craven, Becky (Tony) Gates, and special friend Teddy Ferraro; brothers and sisters in law Jamie (Jeremy) Foster, Sean McKellop, Patrick (Darlene) McKellop Sr., Stephanie (Charles) Davis; nieces and nephews: Michelle Craven, Tiffany (Mike) Bayhurst, Jessica (Syreeta) Craven, Maverick (Mia), and Dakota Swagerty, Rylee and Mikey Bayhurst, Cameron Morgan (Mekenzie), Kristin and Corinna Foster, Jinora Morgan, Jacob, Madyson, Anna, Jack, and Gabriel McKellop, Nicholas Yacobozzi, Giada Blair, Charlotte, Aubrey, Delaney, Patrick Jr. and Layla McKellop.

He was preceded in death by his mother Marsha Swagerty, His Uncle Richard "Tiny" Atkin, Grandparents Marshall "Super Dad" and Donna Atkin, his Father-in-law James L. "Jim" McKellop Jr. and sister-in-law's Cheryl Swagerty and Amy McKellop.

A viewing will be held at Davis- Garr Funeral Home 459 East 12th St Erie Pa 16503 on Tuesday May 31st from 4-6 p.m. with a brief service following the viewing.
