Frank L. Pope

Frank L. Pope, 70, of Erie, transitioned on October 8, 2023, at LECOM at Presque Isle Nursing Home. Frank was born on August 19, 1953, in Como, MS, son of the late J.W. Pope and Annie Mae Pope, who survives.

He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, cooking and watching football.

He has left to cherish his memory his children, Frankie Pope, Jr., Antonio S. Moffatt, Shanice L. Moffatt, all of Erie, Natalia McLaurin of Georgia and Jamal Moffatt of Charlotte, NC and Tasha Wentz of Erie, Pa.  He leaves to cherish his memories mother Annie Mae Pope. Ethel Martin, Mark Pope, and Vann Pope all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin Johnnie Driskell and Lulu Pope of Memphis Dorothy McClean and Lillie Pope of Seattle, Washington and J W Pope of Ridgeland Mississippi, Jerry Pope of Atlanta, Georgia. He is also survived by many grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and special friends, James and Pearlie Williams.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Trina Moffatt-Pope, a sister, Deborah Pope and his close friend, Tommy Barnes.

Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., 459 East 12th Street, Erie, PA 16503 from 11:00 am until the time of his service at 12:30 pm with Minister Penny L.
