Frank A. Krainock, 61, of Erie passed away October 10, 2025, at LECOM Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born December 2, 1963, in Erie, he was the son of the late Frank and Barbara (Schultz) Krainock.
He was a member of St. Stanislaus Church and worked for Jason Controls as a materials handler,
Survivors include a brother, David Krainock of Erie; sisters, Denise (Robert) Abramczyk of Haborcreek and Darlene Karash of Erie; a niece; four nephews and five cousins.
Frank was an avid Cleveland Indians, Minnesota Vikings and Michigan Wolverine fan. He was a member of Polish Foresters. Frank graduated from St. Stanislaus School in 1978 and Tech Memorial in 1982. He was known for ordering food with extra meat and cheese. Frank loved dogs.
His brother, David, would like to thank all the nurses and aides that assisted Frank during his time at LECOM including Bonnie, Melaney, Edie, Carlie, Christinna and Cooper, the singing German Shepard.
Family and friends will be received Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., 459 East 12th Street, Erie PA 16503.
Morning prayers will be said Friday, October 17, 2025, at 9:30 AM at the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Stanislaus Church 516 East 13th Street, Erie, Pennsylvania 16503.
