Elizabeth Thames

Elizabeth Thames transitioned on July 7, 2025, at UPMC-Hamot. She was born in Erie, Pa on February 8, 1966, daughter of Catherine Thames and the late Charles Thames.

Elizabeth graduated from J.H. Thompson Academy as a beautician. She was a former beautician for Law Funeral Home. She was a former caregiver for CRI, she worked as an event planner and decorator for the Erie Convention Center. Liz loved traveling, crocheting, drawing, decorating, planning events and the Philadelphia Eagles.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Catherine Thames, two sons, Dominique Thames, Sr. and Caleb Amos, two grandchildren, Notoria Thames and Dominique Thames, Jr., two sisters, Margaretta Thames and Kristina Thames, three brothers, Charles, William and Aaron Thames and her spouse, Reginald Hightower. In addition, she is also survived by her niece, Serena Whitted, nephew Kelly Whitted, Jr. along with many other nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call, Monday, July 14, 2025, at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 1719 Cascade Street, Erie, Pa 16502 from 10:00 am until the time of her homegoing service at 12:00 noon with Pastor Durfey Wells, Jr. officiating. Burial will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., 459 East 12th Street, Erie, Pa 16503.
