ELIZABETH ANNE (Betty K) KRASINSKI NOWAKOWSKI
Betty Anne (Ciocia Bunbun) will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She went to meet Bob (Wimpy), the love of her life, on August 28, 2025, and she’ll be happy once again. Betty Anne was born in Erie, PA on June 28, 1944, to Max and Florence (WisinskI) Krasinski. She brought joy to us with her infectious laugh and generosity of spirit.
Betty Anne was baptized, attended school and was a life-time member of St. Stanislaus Church.
She graduated from St. Benedict Academy in 1962, then attended training through St. Vincent Hospital as a Radiology Tech, achieving her R.T. through the hospital. Betty was employed at St. Vincent in the Urology Clinic for more than 40 years before retiring.
Bob and Betty Anne met in 1967 for a first date to see “The Sound of Music”. They were married on June 29, 1968, at St. Stan’s and their favorite song was Edelweis which was played at their 25th Wedding Anniversary Mass. We always think of Betty & Bob as a unit; they did everything together. Traveling was one of their greatest pleasures and together they visited Hawaii and Alaska and some snazzy casinos out West. A highlight was a cross-country train trip to San Francisco and Las Vegas with friends. Weeks were spent at the cottage in Westfield with friends and family for many years.
Betty Anne and Bob doted on their nieces and nephews and never forgot birthdays and CHRISTMAS! The kids loved them back, and will remember them fondly.
Betty Anne was preceded in death by her Parents and Grandparents, her husband, Bob, her sister, Gerri Martin, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Dolly and Walter Kaluzny. She is survived by her brothers, Larry (Marge) and Mark Krasinski (Diane), and sisters, Jacque Macie (Ed) and Dolores Griswold (Dave). Also, many nieces and nephews.
