Edward L Barnett

Edward Lee Barnett,72, of Erie, Pennsylvania, passed away on July 13, 2025, at Saint Vincent Hospital. He was born on June 19, 1953, to the late Rosie Lee (Clayton) and Willie Barnett in Erie.

Edward enjoyed watching basketball and being around his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of over 30 years, Joyce Battko, brothers, Willie Barnett, Michael Barnett and Joe Knight.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two children, Marcus Tate and Marcia Tate, three sisters, Linda Barnett, Diane Barnett, Pamela Barnett and one stepdaughter, Stephanie Richmond. He also leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
