Dianne “Annie” (Powell) Dombrowski, age 68, passed away after a long fought battle with cancer on November 25th, 2025. She was born in Erie Pa. on November 25th, 1957, to the late William Powell and Harriett Hunter.
Dianne worked hard her whole life, sometimes holding down multiple jobs at the same time. She most often talked about her years as store manager for Mighty Fine Donuts, machine operator for Alliance Plastics and as a caregiver for Mr and Mrs Malinowski in their later stage of life. She cherished the time spent with family and friends, often speaking fondly of the memories made with them. She loved music, attending hundreds of concerts over the years. She also enjoyed reading and movies. She especially loved spending time with her beloved dog Mickey.
She is preceded in death by brother Gerold Powell and sister Mary Domis. She is survived by her children Anji Tomlin (Tim) and Tom Brooks (Christina); grandchildren Jennifer Duttry (Dylan), Samantha Tomlin, and Dylan Tomlin; great grandchildren Savannah and Noah Duttry; siblings, Rick Powell (Gloria), Bill Powell, Betsy Harmon (George), Ed Powell, and John Hunter (Lisa); as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of both Family Hospice of Erie and Fairview Manor for their wonderful care.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc. 459 East 12th Street, Erie, Pennsylvania 16503. Online condolences may be sent to Davisgarrfuneralhome.com.
