Demetrice Boykin

Demetrice Boykin, 51, of Erie, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2022. She was born to Margaret Barnett and the late Wiley Turner on February 18, 1971 in Laurel, Mississippi.

In addition to her father, she is preceeded in death by her sister, Marie Turner.

Demetrice is survied by her parents, Margaret Barnett and Lee Mclaurin “Pops”,  five daughters, Ashley Holloman, Yaschenna Silbaugh, Keaira Mickel, Taquanta Gray and Alexis Boykin and two sons, Taekon and Gotti.  Her brothers, Luther Barnett, Leonard Barnett, Sha’ron Mclaurin, Miciah Mclaurin and Jay Mclaurin. Her sisters, Nancy Turner (Greg) and Detrice Turner (Dwight) , 9 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her two best friends Shanetta and Tonya.

Demetrice enjoyed playing slots with her mother, and most of all, spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc. 459 East 12th Street, Erie, Pennsylvania 16503 on Monday, December 12, 2022 from 11:00 AM until the time of her service at 1:00 PM with Pastor Daryl Craig officiating.
