Debra Jean Pierce

 Debra Jean Freeman Pierce, 69, of Erie, Pennsylvania, peacefully transitioned from this life into eternal rest on Sunday, June 7, 2026.

Born on October 13, 1956, in Erie, Pennsylvania, Debra was the beloved daughter of the late Maxine Brothers Fox and Robert Andrew Freeman. She accepted Christ at an early age, was baptized, and faithfully served the Lord throughout her life. She was a dedicated member of First Born Apostolic Faith Church of God of Erie, where she found joy in worship, fellowship, and praising God through song

Debra was a woman of deep faith, compassion, and strength. She had a warm smile, a caring heart, and a love for family that knew no bounds. She enjoyed singing praises to God and sharing her faith with those around her. Her kindness, wisdom, and loving spirit will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Debra was preceded in death by her mother, Maxine Brothers Fox; her father, Robert Andrew Freeman; her beloved son, Serrell M. Pierce; her brother, Robert "Bobby" Freeman; and her sisters, Darlene Denise Freeman, Lorraine Freeman, and Regina Brothers.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Keisha Blanks, LeRhonda Jones, and Shanda Charity; her sons, Demetrius Charity and Shannon Charity; her sisters, Cynthia Freeman, Charlene Freeman, Ann Kinebrew, Gwendolyn Fox; her brothers, Clifford Fox and Emmanuel Fox Sr.; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and friends.

Though she has departed from our sight, her love, faith, and legacy will remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind. We rejoice in knowing that she is at peace in the presence of the Lord she faithfully served.

A Memorial Service will be held at the American Legion Post 771, 260 East 3rd Street Erie, PA 16507, on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Presiding and Eulogizing: Bishop C. Roberts.
