Damon P. Melvin

Damon Patrick Melvin, 60, of Mckean, Pa, passed away at his residence on March 8, 2025. Damon was born in Erie, Pa on January 20, 1965, son of the late James A. and Lucille M. (Wolf) Melvin. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his nephew, Dustin C. Melvin.

Damon served in the U.S. Navy, formerly worked at Sam's Club, he enjoyed motorcycles, NFL sports, playing video games, pool and was an avid reader.

He is survived by five siblings, Daniel E. Melvin of Erie, Pa, Dennis J. Melvin, Karen L. Sisco (Robin) of McKean, Pa, David R. Melvin (Christine) of Littleton, Arizona and Douglas J. Melvin of Texas, one half-brother, Joshua Melvin and one half-sister, Jamie Melvin, two nephews, Douglas J. Melvin (Nikki) and Zachary A. Melvin (Erika), one niece, Brandy L. Melvin (Alowi), great nieces and nephews, Abbas, Muhammad, Jasem, Fadhil, Al-Hachami, Spencer, Evelynn and Landon Melvin, and two cousins, Mary Beth and Jimmy Nagorski.

In honoring Damon's wishes, there will be no calling hours and services will be private.
