With profound sadness and endless love, we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and aunt, Crystal Lorraine Harris, who entered eternal life with the “Most High” on May 13, 2026, at home. She was born on January 20, 1963, in Erie, to Lorraine Watford and David Ritchie, who preceded her in death. Crystal attended Academy High School and went on to become a licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel, serving as an Evangelist through Straight Gate Narrow Way Ministries.
Crystal was also an accomplished published author. Her book, Refined, has been used in various ministry services, helping women through trauma and encouraging them to become spiritually “refined.”
Crystal displayed the heart of a servant, always finding ways to serve and support others. She was an intricate part of the Bible and Basketball Youth Program, serving as a founding member and active board member. She was a philanthropist with a generous heart and made sure that anyone in need was cared for.
She was an accomplished cook and took pride in everything she did, always striving for excellence. Whether it was preparing meals, cleaning, or helping create a warm environment, Crystal gave her best. One of her greatest gifts was her creativity, especially in designing beautiful gift baskets and house decorations, with a special talent for creating wedding gifts and decorations.
Crystal dedicated her life to her family and her faith. Whether she was helping with homework, listening to someone’s struggles, or hosting family dinners and “love gatherings,” she made everyone feel safe and unconditionally loved. She especially cherished leading Bible studies with family and friends.
Crystal leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Lorraine Watford; her sons, Randall Harris Sr., Rahshee Harris Sr., and Ryan Harris Sr.; and her many beloved grandchildren: Rahshee Harris Jr., Shaheer Harris, Naraya Akins, Ja’Ryan Harris, Radyance Harris, Ryan Harris Jr., Leandra Barney, Jamayra Hierro, Rasir Harris Mims, Ryley Harris, Azzaria Barnes, Randall Harris Jr., Ramzei Harris, and Rahmier Harris. She is also lovingly remembered by her two great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sisters, Nadine Abdullah, Laverna Ritchie, Vonsheila Ritchie, Latrisse Reiger (Richard), Regina Johnson, and Rahnay Ritchie; her brothers, David Ritchie Sr. and Walt Ritchie; and her spiritual adopted daughter Rachel Moore, whom she loved dearly. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her beloved dogs, Milo and Ziek.
